Dotfast at the International Space Station
The SEAQUE project is about “repairing” detectors from the damage done by space radiation. This is done be heating them, so-called annealing. Dotfast was involved
TDM800/TDM1600 end of life
The trusted TDM800/ TDM1600 devices will reach end of life soon because the iPass PCIe connectors are no longer supported. We have 5 units on
Logic-16 Refurbishment
The original Logic-16 is not very good at detecting small pulses. It was developed in a time most detectors used TTL or NIM pulses. The
DSOC is successful
We received a very nice letter from JPL, thanking us for our contribution to the DSOC project. (Deep Space Optial Communication)
Raw Data Access
The new software version features access to the internal data stream for real time processing. This interface is optimized for multi-threading. Provided the right CPU, one
High Speed Coincidence Counting
The coincidence software was updated to run at full device speed. One can define an almost arbitrary amount of so-called patterns. A pattern can be
Cat video from outer space
Nasa uses our TDM64-1600 for their deep space optical network. They completed their tests and the technology works better than expeced. They successfully demonstrated the
Nasa Launches Psyche Mission
The Psyche spacecraft was launched on October 13, 2023. Psyche demonstrates DSOC technology. (Deep spece optical communication) DSOC uses Dotfast’s 64 input TDM-1600 time tagger.
5 ps Resolution
This week we shipped the first high resolution version of TDM-6G: 128 inputs, 5 ps resolution The data rate is 6.2 Gcounts/s
Steps Towards Quantum Internet
We proudly announce our successful collaboration with QEYnet inc. QEYnets mission is to make Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) globally available by satellite. Learn more at

10 ps Resolution
The TDM-6G resolution was improved to 10 ps. 128 inputs, 6.2 Gcps, 10 ps. That’s not bad, is it?
New Feature: Temporal Walk Correction
When two pulses arrive in a small time intervall, the detector is not fully recovered when it receives the second photon. Therefore the second pulse
